See below for details

In this two day class, you'll transform the seemingly useless into something magical using the process of assemblage, collage, and painting.
It begins with a field trip to wherever discarded things may lie.
Then into the studio we go to transform this trash into treasure.
Michael will show you many techniques including: collage, assemblage, painting, embossing metal and so much more!
There's a whole lot of junk in the world that we might as well put it to good use. By the end of the two days you will be a found object alchemist.
DETAILS For Diablo OR No Diablo:
For each deMeng Workship day that a student takes at The Artists' Nook July 17-20th, they will receive a little matchbox...filled with something.
The idea is to get the one with a little devil.
If you get the devil Michael will make a little shrine for you (roughly 4"x6"ish) that will incorporate a personal item that you would like included.
The Matchbox Opening Ceremony will be a Wine & Cheese Party after Critque on Saturday.
Saturday's workshop ends at 5 pm so the Critque should end about midnight.... Just kidding!
More like 5:30 pm for the unveiling of the festivities!
Just so you know, the 2-day Found Object Alchemy workshop counts as 2 matchboxes earned!

*If you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring your lunch. There is a refrigerator and microwave on the premises.
