Katie is a self-taught mixed media artist who finds her intuitive style of creating art to be a potent way of connecting with her true nature and staying in touch with her heart.
She thrives on open-ended art making and is continually delighted and surprised by the unexpected results inherent in the creative process. An article about her folk art dolls was recently featured in the mixed media periodical Cloth Paper Scissors, and her work has been published in issues of Somerset magazine and Artitude Zine.
She is also is a contributing artist in the newly released book Artist Trading Card Workshop by Bernie Berlin. She enjoys teaching and sharing her joy of creating with others.
